The Patient Advice
and Liaison Service (PALS) is an
informal and confidential service
for patients, relatives and carers
to help them deal with any
questions, concerns or difficulties
they may have about local NHS
services provided by the Primary
Care Trust. These include doctors'
surgeries, dentists, opticians,
pharmacies, community hospitals, and
community services such as district
nursing, school nursing, health
visiting, physiotherapy,
occupational therapy and podiatry.
