National Dementia Awareness Campaign
Department of Health supported by the Alzheimer's Society have launched a national awareness campaign about dementia. This is part of the 5 year plan to radically transform the quality of life for people with dementia AND their carers.
For more information on dementia you are encouraged to either:
- Visit the NHS Choices website www.nhs.uk/dementia for information and to order an information pack.
- Ring the information line 0300 123 1914 for an information pack.
- Visit the Alzheimer's Society website www.alzheimers.org.uk where you can find out about local Alzheimer's Society services.
